Overview of Seminars
Seminar 1: Cross-Cultural Communication Skills in People Management In today’s marketplace, a key ingredient for corporate success is the ability to work effectively with people from all backgrounds. In this seminar, you will be provided a set of easily applicable cross-cultural tools, known as The Alexis Principles™, that enable you to positively affect both horizontal and vertical relationships in organizations and across departments. Learn cross-cultural strategies that build bridges for successful communications between individuals in any cultural context - across management teams, between supervisors and employees, between departments, organizations and corporations. It will increase your ability to connect and do business with new contacts, recruit and retain a diverse workforce, as well as encourage a welcoming and productive workplace environment for employees, business associates, customers and suppliers. Group Dinner and Discussion In the evening, please join us for a Networking Dinner with Business Leaders and People Managers from Europe and North America. You will share experiences and exchange knowledge with people in similar professions in other parts of the world, all while enjoying a traditional German dinner near Knullwald, Germany. Seminar 2: Refining Leadership Skills for Business Leaders True leadership starts with understanding one’s self, which then leads to the understanding of others. Hands-on activities with horses will allow for reflections both personally and through group discussions. New skills will be gained, new ideas will emerge, and you will gain a deeper awareness of yourself and how you can lead others. You will have the opportunity to build leadership skills and confidence with many different leadership styles, all of which are transferable to the workplace and day-to-day life. Using the principles of experiential learning with the horses, we will lead you through hands-on exercises and theoretical sessions regarding underlying metaphors for leadership. By working with the horses, you will focus on how and who you are as a leader. We work with the really important elements of leadership: clarity of purpose, awareness, belief, confidence and charisma. |
