It is true that there is room for strategy and planning within the confines of a business. But there is also room for heart, and that comes forward when we accept the present moment we are in and the work we do together.
Our true vocation in life, as Parker Palmer so aptly put it, is not answering a calling “out there” that demands we be something we are not. It is from our inner voice, calling us to be the person we were born to be.
From the time we enter day care, the process of disconnecting our inner beings from our natural intuition begins and we are encouraged to replace emotional responses with logic. In the process we lose ourselves.
